Ayrshire Farm has opened up their Main House for students to stay at. You can stay in the main house (highly reccomended) for a suggested $150 per night donation to a (tax deductable) charity listed below, or stay at a nearby hotel of your choosing.
Staying at the Main House includes breakfast fixings (make your own. Please let us know, in advance, if you have dietary requests), coffee/tea, Fika, cocktails on the veranda, lovely walks throughout the farm and hang time with curious cats and divine dogs.
Lunch and dinner can be ordered and delivered from nearby restaurants, you are welcome to use the kitchen facilities to prepare your own, or head out to grab something as well.
Ayshire Farm owns and opperates an organic and humane pub and market: The Hunters Head Tavern, and the Gentle Harvest Market. Students recieve 30% off anything ordered form these establishments.
We will have a group BBQ Thursday night, and may take a tour of a working water-powered grist mill when they are grinding! You are also welcome to hike the trails, and play tennis/raquetball, and many other activities if you are interested.

Come join us for this unique opportunity to stay and learn or advance your skills in chasing and repoussé at beautiful Ayrshire Farm!
Chasing and repoussé is an ancient technique used to decorate sheet metal with the most lavish and intricate designs. In this 5 day hands on workshop, Saign will teach everything from different methods of transferring images, tool making, and pitch preparation, to proper ergonomics, chasing, repoussé, and creating relief with only chasing from the front.
You will not only go home with one or more completed projects, but also develop and hone the knowledge and skill to create beautiful pieces of art on your own. Experience is helpful, but not necessary.
Chasing tools, hammers and designs are provided by Saign, but you are welcome to bring your own if you own them, and please do so if they are made by Saign.

Please bring your own eye and ear protection, as well as pitch bowl, or pitch tray.
