Have you ever had a chasing and repousse piece that is too large to fit into a pitch bowl? I have too. That's why I have been using these large pitch trays for years, and now I'm making them available to you. Pair them with a suede sandbag for great positionability, and added mass for a much more solid blow.
 
The 6x9 trays go great with the 14" sand bag, and an 18" bag works best for the 9x12 trays.
 
Available in wood or steel. 
 
The wood trays are lighter and less expenssive. They are a bit louder when you hit them, and the cannot be run under water to cool your pitch rapidly. They also have a larger footprint.
 
The steel trays are heavier and cost more. The added weight means they have a much more solid blow with greater energy transfer. They can be cooled in water, and have a smaller footprint. They are also deeper, meaning you can mount pieces with more relief.
